Tariq graduated from Karachi University with Bachelor of Commerce, with Finance and Business Management as major in 1981. He also did a specialization diploma from London School of Foreign Trade at Morley College in Shipping in 1982.

Tariq has worked in the field of Scrap Recycling and Environment Management since 1978, with his own business in Pakistan. Thereafter moving to the Middle East in 1995 to work in the same field with various international trading companies. He was Manager Operations Business Development Manager for Scrap of Al Bawardi Group from 2005 to 2016, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Tariq has more than 40 years of experience in managing scrap operations and sales in various materials such as Plastic, Metals, and Paper. He has a keen eye for project management and he loves to take a challenge to develop business in all areas of environmental management.
