With air weighing 1.225 KG/M3 and air velocities requiring 21 M/S to effectively transport SAP, incumbent recycling systems require by design vast amounts of air to operate. The Diaper Recycling Technology® design methodology from the onset of the R&D process has predominantly focused on long-term energy savings for the end-user. With this in mind, the patented Diaper Recycling Technology® process uses no air to transport materials and offers significant energy saving opportunities requiring only 1/10th of the energy required by conventional air-assisted recycling systems.
